Kelcy Warren, a towering figure in the energy sector, has left an
indelible mark on the pipeline industry over the past few decades. As the
co-founder and executive chairman of Energy Transfer, Warren’s journey from
rural East Texas to leading one of the largest pipeline networks in the United
States is a testament to his strategic acumen and business foresight. 

Warren’s path to success began in his formative years when he graduated from the University of
Texas at Arlington and embarked on a career at Lone Star Gas Co. This

Transfer through significant expansions, leveraging market conditions created
by the Enron collapse to acquire valuable assets, including the notable purchase of Sunoco in 2012. 

Under Warren’s stewardship, Energy Transfer has not only expanded its pipeline reach but has also
diversified into sectors like crude oil, LNG, and petrochemicals. Recent
acquisitions, such as Enable Midstream and Crestwood Equity Partners,
underscore his commitment to growth and his strategic approach to consolidation in the midstream sector.
